Don't Let Back-Room Deals Defeat Us!

America's Horses Need Your Voice

Dear Animal Advocates,

Last month we asked Americans to contact their federal representatives and urge them to support banning the use of double-deck trailers to transport horses—this language is currently included in a large transportation bill (H.R. 7).

Your calls and messages on this issue created a buzz on Capitol Hill, but the fight is not over. Some members of Congress are trying to strip the ban on double-deck trailers out of the bill before it is sent to the House floor for a vote.

We can't let that happen! We need you to contact your U.S. representative again to let him or her know that you are watching this bill closely, and the spotlight will remain on this issue! Please help us make sure this ban on the use of double-deck trailers for horse transport remains in the transportation bill.
