Dear Wildlife Supporter,

Wow! Based on the overwhelming response from caring Defenders like you to our $25 Wolf Adoption for $15 promotion, it looks like wolf survival gifts will be popular presents for friends and family this holiday season – which also means a big gift to wolves and other imperiled species you care about and Defenders is working hard to protect!

But don't worry - If you haven't yet made your gift, or forgot that special someone on your list... there's still time! We've just extended the promotion for an additional 24 hours, which means you can still give a $25 Wolf Adoption for just $15 using promotion code WOLFGIFT... but only until 11:59pm EST on Thursday, December 9!

Adopt a Wolf!

Wolf in SnowThe Wolf in Winter

As temperatures drop, wolves are growing in their winter coats to help them stay warm and active in the cold months ahead. These amazing coats can help wolves rest comfortably in temperatures as low as -40°! To do this, wolves often curl up with their muzzle near their back legs and their faces covered with their tails. No hats or scarves required! Warm a heart this holiday with a wildlife-saving wolf adoption >>

A Meaningful Gift

A Meaningful GiftThis fall, Defenders donated over 1,500 plushes to Maryland schoolteacher Christie Anne Short. Ms Short has been part of the Haiti relief effort this year following the devastating January 12 earthquake. The plushes will be delivered to school children and refugees of the earthquake and recent flooding resulting from Hurricane Tomas.

Ms. Short told Defenders, "I know they will make thousands of children happy this Christmas and I can't wait to see their smiling faces."
