During the last four years, only a handful of sheep were lost to wolves where Defenders' programs were implemented. Defending Wolves  Thanks to the help of Defenders supporters like you, hundreds of thousands of people saw our latest ads in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming -- helping to inform, educate and shift negative public opinion in the region.
More than 70,000 supporters have spoken out against Wyoming's Obama administration-supported plan that allows wolves to be shot-on-sight on our national forests.
But there is much more work to be done. We continue to advocate with state and federal officials on behalf of sound, science-based wolf management and sensible approaches to manage wildlife.
