	Our field investigation team responded to 14 disasters from North Dakota to Alabama, pulled animals from hoarders, puppy mills and dog fighting compounds, and consulted with local law enforcement on nearly 80 other cases.
	We also granted approximately $15 million in needed funding to more than 1,200 shelters, spay/neuter initiatives, educational programs and other organizations throughout the country, positively affecting animals in every single state.
	Together we changed the lives of one million animals in 2011—and we couldn't be more grateful. Unfortunately, our work together is far from complete.
